Salary: $138,872 - $192,880 (USD) depending on location within the US.

What you will do
- Partner with Account Executives on pre-sales activities, including qualification, demonstrations, Proof-of-Concept, and RFPs.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer needs and demonstrate Twilio's capabilities.
- Build and present complex presentations and product demos for Twilio Communications Products.
- Establish trust with customers by introducing innovative solutions and architectures.
- Contribute to the Solutions Engineering community through knowledge sharing and material creation.
- Proactively lead and influence others, demonstrating passion and resourcefulness.
Requirements
- Bachelors and/or Masters degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experiences.
- Minimum of 8 years in a solutions engineering (presales) role, or 10+ years professional experience supporting technical products with customer-facing exposure.
- Previous experience with customer engagement and supporting products and technologies, along with communicating the ROI of products.
- Demonstrates exceptional technical proficiency and thought leadership, actively contributing to shaping the team's strategy.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, effectively communicating strategic vision across all organizational levels.
- Customer-focused problem solver, adept at striking the balance between crafting innovative technical solutions and prioritizing the customer's best interests.
- Previous software development experience in Backend (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP), Web (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, frontend frameworks - React, Vue.js, Angular), or building with REST APIs.
- Must be based in the US and not eligible for hire in CA, CT, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, OR, PA, RI, TX, VA, WA, or Washington DC.
Nice to have
- Experience managing strategic accounts and evangelizing new use cases and technology in regulated verticals.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and cloud application architecture.
- Previous experience in Telecom, SIP, Contact Center, or Security.
