What you will do

  • Administer and support GoAnywhere MFT, Kafka, IBM MQ, and Redis environments.
  • Ensure high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery readiness for core integration platforms.
  • Coordinate with security, networking, and cloud teams to maintain secure data transfer paths.
  • Build and maintain observability tools, including metrics, logging, and alerts.
  • Handle production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with application teams on integration patterns, troubleshooting, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in middleware or platform engineering supporting production systems.
  • Hands-on administration experience with at least two of: Kafka, GoAnywhere MFT, Redis, or IBM MQ.
  • Strong understanding of messaging concepts such as queues, pub-sub, and delivery semantics.
  • 3-5 years of experience with Linux administration, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of AWS core services including IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch.
  • Proven experience with scripting (Python/Shell) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).

Nice to have

  • Deep expertise in IBM MQ clustering or Kafka broker sizing and partition strategy.
  • Experience with GoAnywhere MFT advanced workflows and PGP automation.
  • Resiliency testing and disaster recovery implementation experience.
  • Relevant cloud or platform certifications like AWS SysOps/DevOps.
