TL;DR

Web Developer: Designing, developing, and maintaining client web applications with an accent on high-quality functionality, performance, and scalability. Focus on troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing applications across the full stack.

Location: Lisbon, Portugal. First 2 or 3 months will be 100% in-person. Afterwards, 3 times a week in-person.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain front-end and back-end web applications.
  • Analyze and implement technical requirements with clients.
  • Ensure projects meet milestones, deadlines, and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain proper documentation.

Requirements

  • Experience with ASP.NET (Web Forms and/or MVC) and maintaining or extending Classic ASP applications.
  • Understanding of the Microsoft .NET ecosystem and web application architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Solid knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 for building responsive and accessible user interfaces.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing and optimizing T-SQL queries.
  • Experience with Visual Basic / VBScript for maintaining and extending legacy components within existing systems.
  • Understanding of client–server architecture, RESTful communication, and web application performance considerations.

Nice to have

  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC architecture and developing applications using C#.
  • Familiarity with SOAP and RESTful web services, including integrating external APIs and building service-based architectures.
  • Experience with at least one modern framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Proficiency with Git or other version control systems for collaborative development and code management.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments, including participation in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
