🦄 Description
Nekki is a game development studio and the creator of Shadow Fight Arena, Shadow Fight 3, Shadow Fight 2, and Vector, with over 1 billion registered users worldwide. The company develops and releases games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms.

We are currently working on SPINE, a third-person cinematic gun-fu beat’em’up built with Unreal Engine 5. The project features a deep storyline, unique setting, cinematic cutscenes, memorable bosses, character progression, and intense firearm-driven combat. As our first ambitious title for both PC and consoles, SPINE represents a major milestone for the studio.

We are looking for a Lighting Artist to help create stunning visuals and immersive environments, making locations feel realistic and visually compelling across both gameplay missions and cutscenes.

🚀 Responsibilities
• Set up, optimize, and polish lighting for SPINE environments in gameplay missions and cutscenes
• Collaborate with the art department to follow visual concepts and overall artistic direction
• Work closely with level designers to highlight important gameplay elements through lighting

📚 Required Skills
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5
• Experience creating lighting using the Lumen system
• Portfolio examples featuring both interior and exterior lighting
• Experience working with realistic environments
• Ability to adjust materials according to lighting needs
• Good understanding of composition and color theory

👍 Nice to Have
• Experience as a Lighting Artist on a shipped Unreal Engine project
• Experience working with Blueprints and technical knowledge of Unreal Engine
• Interest in photography, cinematography, music videos, animation, or painting
