Staff Engineer (Analog IC Design): Leading the design and development of high-speed and high-performance SerDes and analog IPs in advanced technology nodes such as 5nm and 3nm. With an accent on PAM4, DDR, and high-speed analog mixed-signal design. Focus on designing complex analog circuitry, IP characterization, validation, and product support.

Salary: CAD 110,400 - 147,200 per annum

What you will do

  • Lead high-speed SerDes development in advanced nodes (5nm, 3nm, and beyond).
  • Design analog IP including PAM4, PAM2, DDR, Die-to-Die interconnect, PLLs, Bandgap, and other analog circuits.
  • Provide instructions to layout engineers and collaborate with AE for IP characterization and validation.
  • Support IP lab characterization, debugging, and product/customer support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years experience, or Master’s with 3+ years, or PhD.
  • Must be located in Canada, preferably Toronto.
  • Experience in high-speed analog mixed-signal design in 5nm and below for TSMC process.
  • PAM4, 56G or 112G SerDes design experience highly desired.
  • Experience with DDR and Die-to-Die interconnect highly desired.
