What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end QA process within sprints, from strategy creation to final release certification.
  • Plan and execute comprehensive test cycles, including functional, integration, regression, and release testing.
  • Conduct hands-on memory profiling using Xcode Instruments and Android Studio Profiler to identify and report performance bugs.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and success metrics.
  • Perform network-aware testing and manual REST API verification to ensure reliable client-server interactions.
  • Drive release-team testathons and deliver weekly Quality Release Reports to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in manual QA for iOS and Android consumer applications.
  • Proven ability to own end-to-end QA processes and strategy independently.
  • Deep expertise in mobile release trains, crash analytics, and device/emulator testing.
  • Solid proficiency in using tools like Xcode, Android Studio, Charles Proxy, and Jira.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and client-server architecture.
  • Excellent English communication skills for technical documentation and cross-team collaboration.

Nice to have

  • Accessibility testing experience according to WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
  • Knowledge of mobile automation frameworks like XCUITest, Espresso, or Maestro.
  • Experience with analytics stacks such as Firebase, Datadog, or Amplitude.
  • Familiarity with IAP/subscriptions and deep link testing.
