What you will do

  • Define a growing sales team in a well-funded SaaS startup with significant customer traction.
  • Represent the voice of the customer in product definition for high impact.
  • Carry a designated quota for Net New Business revenue.
  • Establish Champions and Advocates over the phone and through web-conference.
  • Identify and nurture leads to generate and close opportunities.
  • Execute defined sales methodology (MEDDPIC) and commit revenue through intellectually honest forecasting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a closing role, ideally in Software selling.
  • Ability to capture and inspire executive sales prospects and customers with Redis's unique vision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • A competitive mindset with a commitment to fair play.
  • Understanding of team-based competition.
  • Track record of building, trying, and learning new things.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with databases, infrastructure software, or SaaS offerings.
  • Experience working closely with marketing and business development partners in a SaaS startup.
  • Prior experience in database technology, NoSQL tech, or software development.
