What you will do
- Lead on-site fault triage and resolution for vehicle software and hardware issues to maintain fleet uptime.
- Develop and enforce structured processes for fault diagnosis, repair protocols, and operational workflows.
- Oversee and support field engineers, providing technical guidance and ensuring seamless collaboration across global teams.
- Ensure rapid response and resolution, meeting the 15-minute issue response and one-hour repair SLA.
- Manage global operational handovers, maintaining open communication and ensuring smooth transitions.
- Uphold strict safety and compliance standards for all fault triage, diagnosis, and repairs.
Requirements
- Lead a team of Field Engineers in triaging, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and automotive system issues.
- Take full ownership of the field engineering function within the location, ensuring operational excellence.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, fault triage, and repair processes.
- Skilled in process development, resource allocation, and workflow efficiency to meet SLAs.
- Excellent ability to coordinate with global teams and provide clear technical guidance.
- Fluent in German and English
