What you will do
- Work on impactful customer technical projects, designing and building reference architectures and creating how-to's.
- Guide strategic customers in implementing transformational big data projects and migrations.
- Consult on architecture and design to promote successful customer adoption of Databricks.
- Provide escalated support for customer operational issues.
- Work with the Databricks technical team, Project Manager, Architect, and Customer team to ensure the technical components are delivered to meet customer's needs.
- Provide product and implementation feedback to Engineering and Databricks Customer Support for rapid issue resolution.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics.
- Comfortable writing code in either Python or Scala.
- Working knowledge of two or more common Cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.
- Deep experience with distributed computing with Apache Spark™ and knowledge of Spark runtime internals.
- Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
- Experience working with clients and managing conflicts.
