What you will do

  • Lead the development, delivery, and scaling of new mobile product features.
  • Define mobile architecture, system design, and technical strategy.
  • Drive performance standards including latency, memory, rendering, and offline behavior.
  • Partner with backend, product, and design teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Mentor engineers and foster a culture of quality, technical ownership, and execution.
  • Manage production debugging, incident response, and root cause analysis.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in mobile development with significant React Native expertise.
  • 2+ years in a technical leadership, lead, or architect role.
  • Strong command of mobile system design, component architecture, and React internals.
  • Must be located within ± 4 hours of the CET time zone for collaboration.
  • Proven ability to ship and maintain high-performance apps on App Store and Google Play.
  • Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and release automation.

Nice to have

  • Experience in startup or high-ownership product environments.
  • Knowledge of scaling real-time or multi-region mobile architectures.
  • Experience building design systems or shared component libraries.
  • Familiarity with edge caching, WebSockets, or offline-first architectures.
