What you will do

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend microservices using Node.js and Kotlin.
  • Own features end-to-end, from technical decomposition to deployment.
  • Maintain and evolve existing NestJS services while developing new services in Kotlin and Spring.
  • Collaborate with product and DevOps teams to ensure high standards of quality and system observability.
  • Build internal tools and admin interfaces to support product operations.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and rigorous code reviews to maintain platform stability.

Requirements

  • Strong production experience with Kotlin or Java, and Spring framework.
  • Proficiency with Node.js and NestJS for maintaining legacy services.
  • Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and microservices.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services like Lambda, SQS, and S3.
  • Experience working within containerized environments using Kubernetes.
  • Strong commitment to testing practices and code quality.

Nice to have

  • Experience in fintech, crypto, or payment systems.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and message brokers like BullMQ.
  • Basic frontend skills with React for internal admin tooling.
