What you will do

  • Play an active role in the design and delivery of technology projects that transform how clients work while developing new digital products and services.
  • Collaborate with small, cross-functional teams to create a wide range of experience design deliverables including journey maps, service blueprints, roadmaps, prototypes and design systems.
  • Facilitate workshops, develop unique design strategies for products and take part in making strategic decisions at the portfolio level.
  • Develop research plans and apply various research methods such as contextual analysis, moderated interviews, experiments, surveys and usability tests.
  • Balance client and Thoughtworker expectations by clearly communicating experience design deliverables.
  • Extend your expertise to teammates by supporting less-experienced designers when possible.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in experience design with specialities in at least three additional areas such as user research, service design, digital product design, interface design, visual design or other design-related disciplines.
  • Proficient in Figma for wireframing, high-fidelity for UI and interactive prototyping.
  • Comfortable leading and advising research activities on experience design projects, employing different methods such as contextual inquiry, moderated interviews, experiments, user testing, etc.
  • Experienced storyteller able to clearly present your research methods, insights and findings to your stakeholders.
  • Happy to design solo or collaborate with designers/developers to create a wide range of experience design deliverables.
  • Clear and effective communicator, capable of defining roles, setting expectations, and fostering confidence within your design team.
