What you will do
- Assist in developing and supporting ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Write SQL queries to facilitate ad-hoc data analysis and basic investigations.
- Monitor data pipeline health and implement basic data quality alerts.
- Collaborate with the team to understand business logic underlying processed data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve routine data-related issues.
Requirements
- Must be based in the EMEA region
- Degree in a relevant field or completion of specialized data engineering courses.
- 3 months to 1 year of experience (pet projects, internships, or basic commercial work).
- Good knowledge of Python and Pandas.
- Solid understanding of SQL joins, grouping, and window functions.
- Experience working with APIs and JSON data.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Basic experience with Apache Airflow or dbt.
- Experience with data visualization concepts.
- Experience working with Google Spreadsheets.
