What you will do

  • Assist in developing and supporting ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Write SQL queries to facilitate ad-hoc data analysis and basic investigations.
  • Monitor data pipeline health and implement basic data quality alerts.
  • Collaborate with the team to understand business logic underlying processed data.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve routine data-related issues.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the EMEA region
  • Degree in a relevant field or completion of specialized data engineering courses.
  • 3 months to 1 year of experience (pet projects, internships, or basic commercial work).
  • Good knowledge of Python and Pandas.
  • Solid understanding of SQL joins, grouping, and window functions.
  • Experience working with APIs and JSON data.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Basic experience with Apache Airflow or dbt.
  • Experience with data visualization concepts.
  • Experience working with Google Spreadsheets.
