What you will do
- Set the architecture vision in partnership with Product and Engineering leadership.
- Design Hexagate to monitor many blockchains fast and reliably, with sophisticated, flexible detection logic.
- Define boundaries, contracts, and patterns across ingestion, detection, response, and customer-facing workflows.
- Improve velocity, performance, and scale while keeping the platform easy to change.
- Inspire engineers, drive alignment through design reviews, and raise the bar.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and evolving distributed systems in production.
- Strong architecture judgment regarding trade-offs across correctness, latency, cost, and iteration speed.
- Ability to align stakeholders and drive decisions across product and engineering.
- Deep understanding of reliability and operability (SLOs, observability, incident learnings).
- A hands-on mindset and ability to dive into code when needed.
Nice to have
- Web3/blockchain experience or strong interest.
- Real-time / streaming data platforms experience.
- Security, fraud, risk, or other adversarial-domain experience.
