What you will do

  • Build cloud-native data ingestion and aggregation processes handling daily gigabytes of data.
  • Develop features for detecting market manipulation, fraud, and behavioral patterns.
  • Build and optimize batch and streaming data pipelines processing billions of records daily.
  • Develop scalable API services on AWS capable of handling thousands of requests per second.
  • Modernize the existing stack to scale capacity by 10x.
  • Debug production issues across distributed microservices.

Requirements

  • Experience designing and implementing cloud-native microservices-based distributed systems on AWS or GCP.
  • Strong background in object-oriented programming, specifically Java or Python.
  • Extensive experience working on backend systems and projects.
  • Practical experience with Terraform and Kubernetes.
  • Commitment to shipping and iterating directly with product and design teams.
  • Interest in the cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem.

Nice to have

  • Proven track record of mentoring other engineers.
  • Experience leading cross-team projects and driving technical architectural decisions.
  • Experience with Spark, Flink, or Databricks.
