What you will do

  • Define and grow a sales team in a well-funded SaaS startup, representing the voice of the customer.
  • Carry a designated quota for Net New Business revenue.
  • Establish Champions and Advocates via phone and web-conference.
  • Identify, nurture, and close leads to generate new opportunities.
  • Execute defined sales methodology (MEDDPIC) and provide intellectually honest forecasting.
  • Maintain clean CRM hygiene, specifically with SFDC.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a sales closing role, ideally in cloud solution selling.
  • Ability to communicate Redis' unique vision and inspire executive sales prospects and customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A competitive mindset, playing tough and fair to win.
  • Understanding of team-based competition and collaboration.
  • Track record of building, trying, and learning new things.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with databases, infrastructure software, or SaaS offerings.
  • Experience working closely with marketing and business development partners in a SaaS startup.
  • Prior experience in database technology, NoSQL tech, or software development.
