Oxfam is a global organization that fights inequality to end poverty and injustice. This Senior Policy Advisor role will support Oxfam's work engaging the US government on foreign assistance, promoting economic justice and rights, and advocating for a new vision for US foreign assistance.
Requirements
- Coordinate the design of updated OUS policy positions
- Lead the writing of a paper on the future of US foreign assistance
- Serve as policy lead on US foreign assistance funding and spending
- Conduct lobby meetings and visits with Congressional offices
- Serve as Oxfam representative in coalitions to keep foreign assistance visible
- Provide senior policy expertise across OUS and broader confederation spaces
