QA Tester (Gamedev): Enhancing the quality of games by executing various types of testing and logging defects with an accent on improving end-user experience and communicating with external QA teams. What you will do

  • Efficiently execute scripted, exploratory, regression, and halo testing.
  • Log defects in your project’s bug database.
  • Provide general feedback to help improve end-user experience.
  • Communicate and work with external QA teams.
  • Work in a fast-paced development environment where priorities can quickly shift.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience in games.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate analytical thinking and an aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Possess a sharp eye for detail.
  • Have a passion for video games.
  • Must have a valid UK work Visa, as visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

  • Experience with all PC and console gaming platforms.
  • Experience creating and maintaining test plans.
  • Experience with Microsoft, Sony & Nintendo certification requirements.
  • Knowledge of JIRA or similar bug tracking software.
  • A good understanding of the game development process.
