What you will do

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analysis to identify potential risks and evaluate their impact on financial performance.
  • Implement risk management policies, procedures, and controls to maintain a robust framework.
  • Create and enhance NPV models for risk management processes and profitability prediction.
  • Launch Champion-Challenger tests for product parameters, analyze results, and optimize profitability.
  • Analyze and monitor customer behavior.
  • Evaluate existing risk models, algorithms, and methodologies, proposing enhancements for accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate risk analysis findings to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide risk-related insights for product development and business strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Risk Analyst or in a similar role, preferably within financial services or fintech.
  • Strong knowledge of financial risk management principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in quantitative analysis, statistical techniques, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience in using scoring models to develop portfolio, origination, and underwriting strategies.
  • Experience with analytical software and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex risk concepts effectively.
