What you will do

  • Lead day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of the Financial Crimes Compliance Program including BSA/AML and sanctions.
  • Oversee AML investigations, sanctions screening, SAR/UAR decisioning, and case quality to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
  • Drive risk assessments and transaction monitoring rule development in partnership with Risk, Data, and Engineering teams.
  • Manage compliance issue intake, remediation, and reporting from audits and regulatory exams.
  • Lead regulatory change management and ensure timely implementation of new laws and guidance.
  • Manage and develop a team of compliance professionals, fostering a collaborative and accountable culture.

Requirements

  • Must have 6+ years in Financial Crimes Compliance, BSA/AML, Sanctions, or related risk/compliance functions within fintech, banking, or financial services.
  • 1+ years of direct people management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, AMLA, FinCEN, OFAC regulations and experience with audits and regulatory exams.
  • Ability to lead regulatory change implementation and compliance issue remediation programs.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
