What you will do

  • Elicit and translate customer requirements into technical and functional specifications.
  • Design and implement insurance product data models and business rules using platform scripting.
  • Develop user interfaces and user journeys within the product ecosystem.
  • Prepare comprehensive test documentation and conduct system/integration testing.
  • Manage project scope, change requests, and risk registers while providing regular progress reports.
  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions and translate business needs for development teams.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the US and work within 9:00 am – 6:00 pm EST hours
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst.
  • Strong coding logic with proficiency in object-oriented languages like C++, C#, PHP, Java, or Python.
  • Thorough understanding of both waterfall and agile development lifecycles.
  • Experience configuring complex software packages and working with relational databases.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the general insurance industry (policy or claims).
  • Prior exposure to the Groovy programming language.
  • Experience with complex data conversion, mapping, and transformation tasks.
