What you will do
- Define and manage chip strategy and roadmap, ensuring product competitiveness in cost, performance, and total cost of ownership.
- Oversee the complete product portfolio throughout its lifecycle, evaluating trade-offs for optimization decisions.
- Consolidate market and customer needs into actionable technical specifications and guide optimal solution design as a technical expert.
- Ensure end-to-end product certification and qualification, including field performance and system functionality tests.
- Establish and oversee the overarching system architecture for complex solutions, ensuring seamless component integration.
- Manage the chip team, budget, resources, and coordinate all Chip R&D activities, driving the smart/embedded ID product business.
Requirements
- Engineering degree, ideally in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or Embedded Systems.
- Strong understanding of the Identity business ecosystem, including standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Project Management background and strong technical understanding of product, personalization system architecture, and integration principles.
- Proven track record in delivering complex, multi-component solutions within high-security environments.
- Familiarity with secure embedded chip technologies, ICAO standards, NIST guidelines, Chip OS, applications, and cryptography.
- Fluent in English and willing to travel internationally.
