TL;DR

Finance Business Partner (Fintech): Delivering financial and commercial analysis to support Sales leadership in decision-making with an accent on budgeting, forecasting, and board reporting. Focus on building and maintaining office-level P&Ls, providing actionable insights, and stakeholder management.

Location: At least 1 day/week in the office (Cambridge HQ). So, if you are able to travel to & from the office safely in a day, that works well for us.

Salary range is £70k-£75k, depending on experience.

What you will do

  • Deliver comprehensive financial and commercial analysis to support Sales leadership.
  • Budget and forecast responsible business areas and build and maintain office-level P&Ls.
  • Present to and challenge senior stakeholders within the business.
  • Synthesise large, complex data sets into actionable insights.

Requirements

  • Strong core business skills, including influencing and stakeholder management.
  • Comfortable presenting to and challenging senior stakeholders within the business.
  • Ability to understand the commercial positioning of a business and provide support and critical analysis around strategic plans.
  • Effective communicator of financial issues to both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • Self-starter and initiative individual who can manage own workload.
  • A strong understanding of finance and accounting backed by a full professional qualification (e.g. CFA, ACA, CIMA etc.).

Nice to have

  • Previous experience dealing with software-specific accounting policies and reporting metrics.
  • Experience with NetSuite, PowerBI, or Salesforce.
