What you will do
- Assist with building out observability, monitoring, and alerting systems for key services.
- Collaborate with product teams to plan and implement reliable system requirements.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response under senior guidance.
- Develop scripts and tools to automate tasks and reduce operational toil.
- Contribute to disaster recovery and systems resiliency testing.
- Support the migration of markets applications to Google Cloud Platform.
Requirements
- Keen interest in SRE practices.
- Experience with Linux-based systems.
- Basic programming or scripting skills in Python or Bash.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to adapt to a fast-paced trading environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, GCE, or GKE.
- Knowledge of OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana.
