What you will do

  • Define customer value and translate it into functional requirements alongside commercial teams.
  • Coordinate global engineering teams to deliver integrated hardware and software solutions.
  • Manage project objectives, including budget, resources, and schedule management.
  • Oversee technical feasibility assessments, design optimization, and risk mitigation.
  • Communicate technical status to stakeholders and provide guidance on product analysis and validation.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Australia (Perth, Brisbane, or Melbourne)
  • Must have the right to work in Australia (Visa sponsorship not available)
  • Must be able to work 5 days per week in the office
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in product design, software development, or mining technology.
  • Proven record of team leadership and executing projects requiring deep technical analysis.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Nice to have

  • 5 years of experience in Software and Systems Development.
  • Specific experience with automation and information technologies applied to heavy machinery.
  • Experience delivering systems comprising offboard IT, embedded controls, and software.
